Questions
How does the WordPress plugin license manager protect my plugin?
Upload your ZIP on the Products page. It injects a small enforcement runtime and gives you a patched ZIP to sell.
Do customers’ sites need to be online?
No. Signed keys are verified offline. Online mode is optional and adds check-ins and remote revocation.
What happens when a licence expires?
You choose per product: lock the site, disable the plugin, or just show a notice. Each includes a key form and a renew link.
Can I verify keys outside WordPress?
Yes. The PHP and JavaScript SDKs verify the same keys in any app.
Can a customer create their own key?
No. Keys are signed with your private key; customer sites only hold the public key.
